Success Ufondu, onstage as Ije Success, is an artist based in the California San Francisco Bay Area. She played the lead role of Bell in Oakland Theater Project's (OTP) critically acclaimed production of sAiNt jOaN (burn, burn, burn), written by Lisa Ramirez. She was nominated for the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle (SFBATCC) award for her performance in this role. She returned to OTP playing Abigail Williams in The Crucible at Oakland Theater Project. She was last seen on stage playing Dr. Marta Gotterling, Ngago, and The Woman in Les Blancs by Lorraine Hansberry, directed by James Mercer II. Past works include Lucentio in The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare, Jasmine in Pipeline by Dominque Morisseau, and Shakespeare Reimagined at the African American Shakespeare Company.
She received a BA in Cognitive Science and Theater and Performance Studies from UC Berkeley. While at UC Berkeley, she performed in multiple productions and received the Grace Sprague Pillsbury & Josephine Park Pillsbury Actress of Excellence award, given to one female student in the theater department every year.

When she is not performing, she is facilitating training workshops, project managing, stage managing, enjoy live shows, and/or spending time with her loved ones.
